A number of changes have recently been made to our search platform on the topic of data literacy: In addition to adjustments of the layout, the number of learning and teaching materials has increased significantly to 450.The form and structure of the presentation of the metadata on the individual detail pages has been improved in terms of clarity and is adapted to the current Dalia Interchange Format (DIF). In the background, we are already working on the next version of the DIF, which will incorporate the numerous and extremely constructive feedback from our community. We feel encouraged in our work to develop a scheme for the systematic collection of metadata in close cooperation with the community, which is also the basis for entering metadata into the knowledge graph of our search platform.

Furthermore, the search for resources has been improved. In addition to the already established Basic Search, a first version of the Advanced Search is now available. The Advanced Search in its new form provides an improved overview, enabling the addition of filters as required in the future. Additionally, the results obtained after using the Basic Search can be narrowed down using new filter options. Further steps have also been taken with regard to the registration function for the search portal. DALIA is part of the third IAM4NFDI incubator under the name NFDI AAI for DALIA. As part of the incubator, projects are supported in the implementation of identity and access management solutions from the BASE4NFDI service. For DALIA, the connection to the NFDI Infrastructure Proxy offers the possibility for users to log in to the DALIA search portal via the NFDI AAI, in particular using the login of their home organization or their ORCID. With regard to the curation form planned in the next milestone, which will enable users to enter resource metadata themselves, barriers can be broken down and the integration of the community will be improved.

Exciting news and current project results are published via the project newsletter, the social media channels Bluesky and Mastodon and via the news category on the project website. Further information on the DALIA project and contact details can be found on the project website. DALIA will go through various prototype development stages until October 2025 and will then continue to be operated by TIB Hannover. Ideas and feedback on errors are always welcome for example via the contact form on dalia.education.
