Working Field III Information Model

In this working field, the foundations are laid for the knowledge base in the form of an information model. The objectives are both a comprehensive inventory of existing platforms and their teaching and learning materials in the field of data literacy (RDM & Data Science) and the formulation of competence questions from the learner’s perspective, on the basis of which the requirements for the information model and the structure of the knowledge graph on which the knowledge base is based will be specified. The foundation for the knowledge base and ontology is developed in working field III, based on existing vocabularies and analysis of the natural and technical language of learners, teachers, curators and other participants in the educational ecosystem. Beyond the scope of DALIA the ontology can be used for modelling RDM-processes, like the creation of data management plans and documentation of data.
