The DALIA project had a strong presence at the 2nd Conference on Research Data Infrastructure (CoRDI) 2025 in Aachen. During the two poster sessions at the first half of the conference, we presented three posters regarding different aspects of the DALIA project:
- Developments of the DALIA interchange format (DIF) and the corresponding picklists were presented with a focus on The Revised DALIA Interchange Format - New Picklists for Describing Open Educational Resources.
- Collected use cases and user stories under the title “As a [researcher], I [want to find open educational resources about data literacy] by using a [knowledge graph based search platform].” - Use cases and user stories for the development of the DALIA platform. The full use cases and user stories can be accessed on our website.
- A joint poster with the ASSURED project on the increasing importance of qualifications: How Could we Scale up the Qualification of Researchers for Trusted Research Environments - Preparing the Usership for the European Data Spaces.

In the second half of the conference, we presented the DALIA search platform including a short demo on the upcoming curation interface and user management: DALIA Search Platform: Data literacy for all from the very beginning. In the lightning talk Safeguarding Quality of OER Materials in DALIA: A Federated Curation Concept, we presented our vision of curation and rating learning materials within DALIA based on FAIRness and the learning content.

The adjacent 2nd Base4NFDI User Conference (UC4B2025) was attended by a delegation of our team. Besides presentations and small interactive workshops of existing Base4NFDI basic services, user experiences of NFDI consortia were presented. The DALIA project is closely working together with Base4NFDI services to be integrated into the NFDI cosmos. Our incubator project together with IAM4NFDI to implement an user login started in the first half of the year and our TS4NFDI incubator project on autocompletion widgets was kicked-off recently in August.
